Vendor Spotlight: SageContent

SageContent is an end-to-end video platform built for financial advisors. It brings the whole process into one place, from coming up with ideas to scripting, recording, editing, and distributing your videos. You still do the work of recording and running the software, but SageContent streamlines the steps around it, so video becomes a realistic marketing channel even if you have never done it before.

What It Does

SageContent supports each step of video creation in one place. During onboarding, you complete a profile and provide spoken samples so the platform's AI learns your voice. From there, the workflow runs end to end:

  • Ideas. Enter a topic and get several angles, or let the AI suggest topics for you.

  • Thumbnails. The AI generates a thumbnail designed for a high click-through rate.

  • Scripts and descriptions. The AI writes a script in your voice using proven hook frameworks, pulling from around 90 approved, credible sources such as Fidelity and Kitces, and always using current-year information. Descriptions are optimized for each platform.

  • Recording. Use the in-platform teleprompter and camera, with footage saved straight to SageContent, or book a full day at their Denver studio.

  • Editing. Use the AI editor, which trims dead space and adds captions and overlays, or hand it to SageContent's in-house team, which turns around edits in about 24 hours for short-form and 48 hours for long-form.

  • Distribution and analytics. Schedule and auto-post to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest, and Threads, then track performance in one dashboard. You can log conversions, such as new meetings and assets, and tie them back to specific videos to see what actually drives business.

Why It Stands Out

Two things set SageContent apart. First, it is genuinely end to end, which removes the friction that stops most advisors from doing video consistently. Second, the content is built with compliance in mind: the AI draws only from credible, current-year sources, which can make your review simpler. Keep in mind that compliance for your content remains your responsibility; the platform is designed to make that process easier, not to replace it.

Pricing

As published by SageContent, current as of October 2026. Every engagement starts with the Sage Flex base platform, and professional editing and studio days are optional add-ons on top of it.

  • Sage Flex base platform: $250 per month, or $2,400 per year (about $200 per month) if you pay annually. This is required for every plan and includes the AI content agents, in-browser recording, AI video editing, compliance tools, scheduling, and posting.

  • Professional human editing: an optional add-on purchased as monthly editing credits (one long-form video is five credits, one short-form video is one credit), with the per-credit rate dropping as volume rises. SageContent's recommended volume of two long-form and eight short-form videos per month comes to about $1,060 per month, which already includes the base platform fee.

  • Denver studio: $2,000 per day, optional, if you want to record a batch of videos with their team.

AI video editing is included in the base plan, so you only pay for editing credits if you want SageContent's human team to edit for you. Even if you have the capacity to edit your own videos, we recommend using their professional editing team. They know the best practices that make a video land, and the cost is usually less than what your own time would be worth spent editing.

Who It Is Best For

This is a strong fit if video is, or should be, part of your marketing and the production process has been what holds you back. It suits advisors who are ready to show up consistently on YouTube and social platforms and want the scripting, editing, and distribution handled for them.

Our Take

We are currently evaluating SageContent and have not yet produced results with it ourselves, so treat this as a platform worth a close look rather than a tested recommendation. If video is a channel you want to commit to, the end-to-end workflow and compliance-forward approach address the two biggest reasons advisors stall. If you would like to talk through whether video fits your plan, come see us at Office Hours.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

We are currently in discussions with SageContent about a referral arrangement under which they would compensate us for advisors we refer. That arrangement is not yet in place. If it is finalized, we will update this disclosure, and we would then have a financial incentive to refer you. For now, we are sharing SageContent simply because we think the platform is worth a look.
